Happy Homeworking
I know I've let down my fans lately (Hi, Mom!) but it's that time of the semester, you know? Time for polishing rough drafts and birthing research papers and twiddling with Flash. Fortunately, this weekend is UF's Homecoming, or as I like to call it, Homeworking.
It's also a great time of year for playing with new toys. Try this one, if you like. What a hoot. It's got everything: cute stick figures, senseless strategy, so many jokes that you might trip on them -- if you aren't too busy fighting the giant macaroni that's trying to pastaslap you in the elbow.
Isn't it nice to be grown-up enough that some of the jokes out there are actually written with you in mind? I used to watch old cartoons on TV as a kid, and although I had an exceptionally broad sense of history for a little squirt, I still knew that all those references to war bonds and draft boards weren't meant for me. Now I live in my own time.
