A new look

I'm trying a new look for the blog. I'm just switching templates, so I need to play with it some more. Maybe next I'll dye my hair to match it.

Fall, relatively speaking

Yesterday a friend of mine pointed out that the leaves are falling. Because it's January in Florida and 80 degrees outside, I think we can reattribute this "seasonal" pattern to the fact that the leaves, having held onto their stems since last spring, are simply exhausted. They give up, they let go, they fall to the ground, more leaves grow in their place, and another seasonless season neither begins nor ends.

Either that, or UF ran out of pictures for next year's viewbook, and arranged for leaves to fall to lend a collegiate air to some upcoming photo shoot.
