Buenos Aires This is about all I saw of Argentina's capital, described in the tourist brochures as the "Paris of the South." It's definitely on my list of places to visit. We spent a couple hours in the Buenos Aires airport on the way down and on the way back. I discovered that airport snack bars in different hemispheres have much in common. I watched the water swirl clockwise down a sink drain, an experiment I had also tried on the plane once I thought we had crossed the equator. Also, I bought some well-designed Argentinian newspapers. |
